Halloween Contraversy

I think that it is not right that the entire student body should be punished for one kids mistake. I agree that the costume was not a good idea. It enraged a lot of staff members and students. Their might be a better solution though. Maybe set a certain standard that the costumes have to reach. They should just make some rules towards the costumes, not take them away completely. Is that not what Halloween is about, being something that you can't be the rest of the year.

Invisibility Cloak

I think being invisible would be one of those win-lose things. You could probably go wherever you wanted to go and hear all the things you wanted to hear. Their also might be things you did not want to here. Maybe after you followed people around that you thought you knew it would turn out you did not know them at all. Maybe they are not as honest, or as good as a person you thought they were.

Memories

There is one memory that never seems to let me go. Its the memory of my grandfather dieing. I was in the fourth grade. I was only 9 but I understood how it felt to lose someone after that. I think the reason is the only other person of my family to have passed away till that point was my other grandfather. I was about around 4 I guess. It still hurt but I was really to young to understand what dieing was. I knew you would not live anymore, but I didn't really understand anything else. It was kinda weird being 9 and learning something like that. That's a feeling I will never forget.

Bonfire

I feel like something that we have done for years just does not matter anymore. People make traditions so they can be kept going by the next class of students. I feel bad for the seniors this year for being the first senior class not to have a bonfire. When the bonfire is one of the most important traditions for the seniors here. I have been living here nearly all my life and the bonfire has always happened. I moved away for two years and I was starting to look forward to it again. Even though a tradition is dieing one might be being born. This give this year's seniors a chance to become legends for making another great tradition.Seniors try to leave their mark and this gives them a genuine chance to do that.

I wish

I wish that our jv football team won first in district. We are so far undefeated in district. We play Floydada this week at their home field. We are on a two game win streak. A lot of people stopped taking us for granted after our big win over Tascosa. Then we barely pulled out a win against Wellington last week but a win is a win.
