I guess I will just have to wait for them back at the pet store.firefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-54771890445074485192008-12-04T13:59:00.005-06:002008-12-04T14:08:08.206-06:00Christmas FREEWRITE
This Christmas is going to be kind of awkward for me. This will be the first time in quite a while that I don't spend Christmas with my dad. He is going to visit my grandmother, and I kind of want to spend it with my mom. That's another new thing. I have always spent Christmas with both my parents except now that they are separated I feel like I will make the other one sad if I don't spend Christmas with them. I want to spend this Christmas with my mom because it is my first year back with her after living with my dad these past two years. All I know is who I spend Christmas with does not reflect on who I love more. I love my parents equally. It does not matter who I spend my holidays with.firefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-70074421357594806222008-12-04T13:59:00.001-06:002008-12-04T14:00:06.793-06:00Christmas FREEWRITEfirefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-52607785351705298532008-12-04T13:59:00.000-06:002008-12-04T14:00:05.049-06:00Christmas FREEWRITEfirefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-41237436785706059992008-11-07T13:28:00.002-06:002008-11-07T13:42:03.541-06:00It's the last football game of the season, and what a season it has been. Not just for our varsity but for our junior varsity team as well. To me I felt as if we were kind of the underdogs for almost every game. With all the injuries and people who could no longer play, it felt like we were just a little smaller than everyone else. Last night we finished the season off with a 24-0 win over Tulia. It's funny how the mood of the game and teams can change after just a couple of plays or maybe even one play. After we realized how well we were working together everything else just started to click. Nobody on our sidelines had their head down, or had a frown on their face. It was the perfect game to cap off a season that started off not so great. It kind of feels satisfying to know that even though we were kind of an underdog, that we could end up having a winning season.firefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-40048817139011236302008-10-29T14:15:00.002-05:002008-10-29T14:19:19.139-05:00Halloween ContraversyI think that it is not right that the entire student body should be punished for one kids mistake. I agree that the costume was not a good idea. It enraged a lot of staff members and students. Their might be a better solution though. Maybe set a certain standard that the costumes have to reach. They should just make some rules towards the costumes, not take them away completely. Is that not what Halloween is about, being something that you can't be the rest of the year.firefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-91564898936354893162008-10-27T13:40:00.002-05:002008-10-27T13:45:20.099-05:00Invisibility CloakI think being invisible would be one of those win-lose things. You could probably go wherever you wanted to go and hear all the things you wanted to hear. Their also might be things you did not want to here. Maybe after you followed people around that you thought you knew it would turn out you did not know them at all. Maybe they are not as honest, or as good as a person you thought they were.firefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-65657315401709987352008-10-22T13:40:00.002-05:002008-10-22T14:00:51.552-05:00MemoriesThere is one memory that never seems to let me go. Its the memory of my grandfather dieing. I was in the fourth grade. I was only 9 but I understood how it felt to lose someone after that. I think the reason is the only other person of my family to have passed away till that point was my other grandfather. I was about around 4 I guess. It still hurt but I was really to young to understand what dieing was. I knew you would not live anymore, but I didn't really understand anything else. It was kinda weird being 9 and learning something like that. That's a feeling I will never forget.firefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-30254390149007854762008-10-15T19:05:00.003-05:002008-10-15T19:07:45.730-05:00BonfireI feel like something that we have done for years just does not matter anymore. People make traditions so they can be kept going by the next class of students. I feel bad for the seniors this year for being the first senior class not to have a bonfire. When the bonfire is one of the most important traditions for the seniors here. I have been living here nearly all my life and the bonfire has always happened. I moved away for two years and I was starting to look forward to it again. Even though a tradition is dieing one might be being born. This give this year's seniors a chance to become legends for making another great tradition.Seniors try to leave their mark and this gives them a genuine chance to do that.firefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-76971325571598149182008-10-14T13:38:00.002-05:002008-10-14T13:43:11.247-05:00I wishI wish that our jv football team won first in district. We are so far undefeated in district. We play Floydada this week at their home field. We are on a two game win streak. A lot of people stopped taking us for granted after our big win over Tascosa. Then we barely pulled out a win against Wellington last week but a win is a win.firefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-53444759948647258482008-09-18T13:43:00.004-05:002008-09-18T13:49:15.197-05:00I think I would choose wealthy and ugly. If you are wealthy you would not have to worry about much things in life. Plastic surgery might not be so crazy when you can afford it easily. You could by fancy things and feel good that you are doing something that lets you buy them. So your self esteem would still be at a pretty good level.firefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-21454053419038363232008-09-10T13:40:00.003-05:002008-09-10T13:48:24.174-05:00JournalIf I could change one thing in my life I would change the way I act towards my siblings. I have two older sisters and one younger brother. My oldest sister is 20 and the other is a senior this year. My brother is only 7 which is eight years younger than I am. I guess me and my sisters have more in common because we are around the same age. Well not completely they are both girls so we don't always agree on subjects and other things. Me and my brother are both boys but that age difference leaves a gap between us. So since we aren't really the same people it makes it hard to talk to each other. I want to communicate with them better so we can see each others problemsfirefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-78899926102306541172008-09-05T13:31:00.002-05:002008-09-05T13:42:30.256-05:00Yesterday we had our first junior varsity game. We were losing 20 to 0. We never got to finish our game because one of our teammates and more importantly one of our friends got injured badly. We all took a knee and all we could do was stare and hope that he was okay. He had to be taken to Wichita Falls in an ambulance. The game was stopped in the third quarter.Even our rivals paid their respects and joined us in a prayer. We heard later that he got out of surgery successfully. Then this morning we heard he is doing better. If this has ever happened to one of your friends you would know how our school feels. He is not just a teammate but a friend.firefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08402287489162255420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5526243188219816198.post-8710899612104411192008-09-04T13:51:00.000-05:002008-09-04T14:04:28.154-05:00my first postWe got our first football game today in Iowa Park.
